A first-generation student, Saanvi needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Saanvi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Edmonton Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,500.
The registrar has said Saanvi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Saanvi has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Saanvi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Saanvi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,350
• Final term tuition: $2,750
• Exam and lab fees: $200
• Textbooks and materials: $200
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
