Ubud
Rina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Ubud State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Rina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rina has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Rina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $450 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Outstanding tuition balance: $165 • Final term tuition: $250 Thank you so much. - Lestari
