A first-generation student, Raúl needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Raúl is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Tarragona State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,850.
The registrar has said Raúl can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Raúl has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Raúl would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Raúl isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $770
• Final term tuition: $1,750
• Exam and lab fees: $55
• Textbooks and materials: $275
Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Pedro
Thank you all. We're at 36% now ($1,019). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($398 in total) I met with the university and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
We're at 27% thanks to 27 of you. we've started the first stage. More news soon.
