One semester away: help Rashid graduate from Cairo State College
A first-generation student, Rashid needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a law degree.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at Cairo State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $550.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $550 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $250
• Final term tuition: $200
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $75
Glad we found this place.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rashid
Outstanding tuition balance is $250 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
