Rafiq is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Comilla Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has said Rafiq can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rafiq has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rafiq would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Rafiq isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Comilla Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
