Pairoj is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Bangkok Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,200. The registrar has said Pairoj can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Pairoj has a 3.9 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Pairoj would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Pairoj isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bangkok Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,200 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $460 • Final term tuition: $600 • Exam and lab fees: $70 • Textbooks and materials: $70 I hope life is good to you.

Hang in there, Lalita. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Bangkok.

Rooting for you, Lalita. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Galway.
