Oskar is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Augsburg University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,950. The registrar has said Oskar can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Oskar has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Oskar would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Oskar isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Augsburg University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $4,950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,850 • Final term tuition: $2,750 • Exam and lab fees: $150 • Textbooks and materials: $200 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
