Neil is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Quezon City Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Neil can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Neil has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Neil would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Neil isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Quezon City Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Final term tuition: $360 • Textbooks and materials: $30 • Exam and lab fees: $60 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
