He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,700. The registrar has said Naoki can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Naoki has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Naoki would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Naoki isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kobe Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
