One semester away: help Mutua graduate from Mbale University
A first-generation student, Mutua needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at Mbale University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mbale University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $600 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $250
• Final term tuition: $300
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $35

Wishing you the best, Mutua. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Greetings from Madrid
So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 10 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything
you're not alone. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Mbale.
Thinking of you and your family, Mutua. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Mutua. Hope this works out for you.
