One semester away: help Lucy graduate from Arusha Polytechnic
A first-generation student, Lucy needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Lucy is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Arusha Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Lucy can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lucy has a 3.6 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lucy would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Lucy isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Arusha Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $300 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $40
• Outstanding tuition balance: $230
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Wishing you peace. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Syracuse.
Any update on how things are going in Arusha?
It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from San Francisco.
Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Kasarani

good luck, Odhiambo. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Cambridge but we're thinking of you.
