Joseph is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Corpus Christi State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,050.
The registrar has said Joseph can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joseph has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joseph would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Joseph isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Corpus Christi State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,500
• Final term tuition: $2,050
• Exam and lab fees: $260
• Textbooks and materials: $240
Glad we found this place.

Sending good thoughts, Gabriel. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Love from Kathmandu.
