Jayanthi is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Jodhpur Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $350. The registrar has said Jayanthi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jayanthi has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jayanthi would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jayanthi isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Jodhpur Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $350 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $40 • Outstanding tuition balance: $160 • Final term tuition: $150 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
