Jameson is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Dayton Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,100.
The registrar has said Jameson can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jameson has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jameson would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Jameson isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dayton Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,100 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,050
• Final term tuition: $3,600
• Exam and lab fees: $200
• Textbooks and materials: $250
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
