Imran is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Faisalabad Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Imran can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Imran has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Imran would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Imran isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Faisalabad Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $600 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $260
• Final term tuition: $310
• Exam and lab fees: $15
• Textbooks and materials: $15
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Faisalabad.
thinking of you and your family. Hope you get there. Love from Cox's Bazar
