One semester away: help Hala graduate from Venice State College

Hala is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Venice State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,000. The registrar has said Hala can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hala has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hala would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Hala isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
