One semester away: help Gianna graduate from Laredo State College
A first-generation student, Gianna needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Gianna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Laredo State College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,800.
The registrar has said Gianna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gianna has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gianna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Gianna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Laredo State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $220
• Exam and lab fees: $300
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,280
