Gerald is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Adelaide State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,550.
The registrar has said Gerald can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gerald has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gerald would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Gerald isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Adelaide State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $140
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,070
