Warsaw

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at Warsaw Polytechnic, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,000. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Warsaw Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,000 goes: • Final term tuition: $740 • Textbooks and materials: $135 • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,125 I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Elżbieta

Update from Warsaw: the plan for textbooks and materials is now scheduled. We're at 14% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 8% funded and I made the first payment toward outstanding tuition balance.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($256 in total) I made the first payment toward outstanding tuition balance. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
