He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,650. The registrar has said Elijah can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Elijah has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Elijah would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Elijah isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
