One semester away: help Dorcas graduate from Kinondoni State College

Dorcas is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Kinondoni State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $655. The registrar has said Dorcas can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Dorcas has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Dorcas would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Dorcas isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kinondoni State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $655 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $300 • Final term tuition: $330 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $5 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Mwanaisha
