One semester away: help Dimas graduate from the Jakarta Barat Institute of Technology

Dimas is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at the Jakarta Barat Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Dimas can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Dimas has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Dimas would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Dimas isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $700 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $190 • Final term tuition: $450 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $20 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Fitri
