One semester away: help Daniel graduate from Berlin State College

Daniel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Berlin State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,900. The registrar has said Daniel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Daniel has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Daniel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Daniel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $3,900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,100 • Final term tuition: $1,600 • Exam and lab fees: $95 • Textbooks and materials: $105 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Lisa
