One semester away: help Clara graduate from Detroit Polytechnic
A first-generation student, Clara needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.

Clara is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Detroit Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,150.
The registrar has said Clara can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Clara has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Clara would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Clara isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Detroit Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,350
• Final term tuition: $1,450
• Exam and lab fees: $115
• Textbooks and materials: $235
I hope life is good to you.
