Arslan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at the Quetta Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Arslan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Arslan has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Arslan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Arslan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Quetta Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $170 • Final term tuition: $270 • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Textbooks and materials: $10 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
