Alyssa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at St. Louis University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,750.
The registrar has said Alyssa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Alyssa has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Alyssa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Alyssa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,200
• Final term tuition: $990
• Exam and lab fees: $280
• Textbooks and materials: $280

So sorry you're going through this, Joshua. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Thane.
Hang in there. Study hard! Sent it to 23 people at work. God bless.
Keep going, Joshua. Hope you get there
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
