One semester away: help Alice graduate from Lyon Community College

Alice is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Lyon Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,750. The registrar has said Alice can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Alice has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Alice would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Alice isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $3,750 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $175 • Final term tuition: $2,300 • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,275 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
