Abosede is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Gwagwalada State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has said Abosede can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Abosede has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Abosede would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Abosede isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $900 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $430
• Final term tuition: $430
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $20
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope it all works out, Kelechi. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Manila this morning. Greetings from Manila
praying for you. Shared this with my family. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Mecca!
Study hard! My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Gwagwalada.
