Aaliyah is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at the Atlanta Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,350. The registrar has said Aaliyah can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Aaliyah has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Aaliyah would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Aaliyah isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Atlanta Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $4,350 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $3,000 • Final term tuition: $880 • Exam and lab fees: $195 • Textbooks and materials: $275 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Landon
