Omondi needs display cabinets and a cooler to reopen a flower stall
A flower stall in Fort Portal needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after the demolition of the market.
🇺🇬 Fort Portal, Western Region, Uganda961 views
For three years I have run a flower stall in Fort Portal. In June, the demolition of the market took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $95
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $300
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Omondi
Wanted to say thank you properly. 50% funded and I made the first payment toward replacing display cabinets and a cooler.
34% there. the plan for shop repairs and licensing is now scheduled. Thank you.
