Oluwaseun was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. The oncology team at Awka Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Oluwaseun is 37, worked as a construction supervisor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Awka Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $350 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $115 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135 • Transport to Awka Regional Medical Center: $100 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Wunmi
