Olivia was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Newcastle Orthopedic Institute recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,250, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $4,350 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Newcastle Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Olivia struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
