I live with an amputation below the knee. My occupational therapist at Bekasi General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400. My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $400 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $35 • Delivery and set-up: $10 • communication tablet with eye tracking: $355 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
