After a violent robbery, Okan has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at Istanbul Wellbeing Centre cost $15 each. Okan has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support. Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Okan could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference. Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Okan, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment. Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable. Where the $400 goes: • 20 therapy sessions: $330 • Psychiatric assessment: $55 • Workbook and resources: $15 Thank you for reading my story.
