Obuasi flood relief - the Millbrook neighborhood
After the flood, families in the Millbrook neighborhood need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Millbrook neighborhood on 18 November. My home was one of 54 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $700 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $100
• Food parcels for displaced families: $260
• Roofing sheets and timber: $340
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

How is Ebo doing now?
Sending love, Ebo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Quezon City
