For six years I have run a fish stall in Abuja. In August, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $450 goes: • Replacing a freezer and scales: $290 • Working capital for the first month: $110 • Shop repairs and licensing: $50 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Obiageli

Replacing a freezer and scales is $290 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Appreciate you taking the time.

  • Take care, Obiageli. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
