Nova needs a freezer and scales to reopen a fish stall
A fish stall in London needs help replacing a freezer and scales after a break-in.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom871 views
For six years I have run a fish stall in London. In January, a break-in took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $240
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $920
• Working capital for the first month: $290
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Nova
Wanted to say thank you properly. 39% funded and I made the first payment toward shop repairs and licensing.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 31% funded and I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless!
Hang in there. Hope you get there. I hope April is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Abuja.
Thinking of you and your family, Nova. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this. Small businesses are the heart of London. Hope you're open again soon
