Nora's kidney cancer treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at San Diego Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Nora was diagnosed with kidney cancer in June. The oncology team at San Diego Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Nora is 57, worked as a bank teller until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $4,700 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,400
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,650
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $510
• Transport to San Diego Regional Medical Center: $1,140
