Nora was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February. The oncology team at Mobile Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Nora is 55, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mobile Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Scans and lab work: $930
• Transport to Mobile Regional Medical Center: $680
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $900
