Noman has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Dhaka General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Noman can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way. Noman is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.

  • I hope things turn around soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best

    • stay strong, Jewel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out.

      • Rooting for you. Hope the doctors have good news. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings
