Help Njeri regain independence: a simple ramp build.

Njeri has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Njeri can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Njeri's family will cook lunch for the team. I hope life is good to you.
