Nipa lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Dhaka Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Nipa could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $700 goes: • prosthetic leg: $630 • Fitting and training sessions: $20 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $30 Every share and every dollar helps.
