Nina needs my delivery van repaired to get back to work in Novosibirsk

Nina drives for a living in Novosibirsk, and a broken engine head gasket has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 7 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $500 goes: • engine head gasket replacement (parts): $320 • Labor charges: $75 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $45 • Towing and inspection: $60 Thank you for reading my story.

You're not alone, Nina. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Novosibirsk.

Hope things get better soon, Nina. Hope the shop reopens soon. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
