Nihal was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at Ankara Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Nihal is 42, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ankara Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.       Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. scans and lab work comes first ($340) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
