Nicolas's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Nicolas was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in May. The surgeon at Hamilton General Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,750, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $5,400 short.
my father has been in and out of Hamilton General Hospital since May. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Nicolas struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Nicolas won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.

Sure. The biggest one is surgeon and anesthesia fees, $2,300. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
