Nicolás's cataract surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled cataract surgery in July is out of reach without help covering $1,200 of the cost.

Nicolás was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in May. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,400, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my father has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since May. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Nicolás struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Nicolás won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
