10 rounds of treatment are planned at Ibadan University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ngozika was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June. The oncology team at Ibadan University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Ngozika is 28, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ibadan University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,950 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350 • Scans and lab work: $150 • Transport to Ibadan University Hospital: $65 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60 • Household costs while unable to work: $325 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. After 10 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

      • wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Noida
