Neha served ten years; now needs help to get home
After ten years of service, Neha is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2025 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $700.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $700 goes:
• Training provider fees: $340
• Housing deposit and first month: $250
• Transport to appointments: $45
• Essential household items: $65
If you're reading this, thank you.

you're not alone, Neha. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Los Angeles.
Sending strength, Neha. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Mangaluru
Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Nuremberg.
Best of luck, Neha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Mumbai
Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. After 11 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
