Nashik
Neha was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May. The oncology team at Nashik Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Neha is 42, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nashik Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,500 goes: • Scans and lab work: $250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,145 If you're reading this, thank you.
