Neelam needs three industrial sewing machines to reopen a tailoring shop
Neelam has run a tailoring shop for nine years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $200 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a tailoring shop in Nashik. In August, the demolition of the market took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $40
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

hope things get better soon, Neelam. This could happen to any of us. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Nashik!
